panic – day to day self-control
We panic if we’re running late or haven’t completed a task on time time. There are so many things in our day-to-day lives that can cause us to panic. It may start out initially as a small niggling worry that gradually gets blown out of all proportion until we find ourselves in a state which we seemingly can’t control.
Try to remember, nothing is ever solved by worrying or becoming panic stricken. If you are in a state of extreme anxiety for whatever reason, one step you can take is to stop, breathe slowly and deeply, and try to understand what has caused you to feel so out of control.
You can control your own thoughts, and therefore it makes sense to assume you can also control how you feel in any given situation. If you try to control the rising anxiety panic attacks by believing you are in charge you can build your confidence and prove to yourself that you’re capable of overcoming anything.
Believe in yourself and remember that most people suffer from self doubt, you’re not alone, and taking control of your thoughts is the first step towards beating the generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks that can so easily take over your entire life.
It’s important to develop a relationship with yourself. Tell yourself you are a unique individual, you are important to others and you are a success as a human being. Be enthusiastic and optimistic and tell yourself you’re going to change things you don’t like and succeed in developing as a well adjusted human being.
You’re your own master and whatever talents you may have been blessed with, use them to help you to enjoy your own life and encourage others to do the same. What’s happened to you in the past is gone and forgotten, today and tomorrow are the things to focus on and every day tell yourself you are a success.
If money is one of the things causing you to become stressed out and experience panic attacks, just ask yourself this. By having a stressful, anxiety filled day, does it help my monetary situation? I think not. However, if you sit down, breathe deeply, and try to relax you’re actually gaining a measure of control.
By being in control you can start to think more clearly, and believe me, by overcoming panic attacks as they start, albeit temporarily, you will be in a much better state to contront your financial situation and better equipped to make sensible decisions.
Talking to others about the problem, sharing your thoughts and ideas on how to proceed will get things into perspective and a seemingly desperate situation could be dealt with easier and faster.
In your bid to self-control your panic attacks, regular exercise will help to produce brain chemicals that uplift your mood and mental well-being. A twenty minute walk a day is quite enough to get the blood flowing and give you a more relaxed feeling.
Try to mix with positive thinking people who’ll uplift you, not people who are always bemoaning their lot. Don’t hold grudges and remember, being a perfectionist is not always the key to happiness. Try to be more flexible in your thoughts and ideas. Count your blessings and appreciate what you’ve got, even if it’s only just yourself, remember you are special and important.
By not leaving everything until the last minute you’ll undoubtedly ease your anxiety. A little forward thinking in your daily life can help tremendously and help to make everything run a little more smoothly.
One more thing….you can rid yourself of anxiety and panic disorder completely. What’s more, it can be done quickly, safely and naturally.
